Well hey there...

Well here I am back at the ol Blogzilla!!! I have been so busy since school started and that is why I have not written in here so long. Well a lot of new things in my life are pretty awesome I am pretty damn fortunate.

1) I ordered a guitar amp and a new pedal so when they get here I will finally be able to play my electric guitar which has been looking at me wondering, "what have I done? Why won't you play with me"? I will be able to please him finally. I cannot wait to start playing some rough rock and roll with mr. Andrew Izatt. I think we both need a release from our world of modern frustration.

2) I think everyone should go check out "The Graduate", with Dustin Hoffman. I think it is a good look at what young people are dealing with right now. I think many of us are feeling like we have been betrayed by the generation before us. My whole life I was told that if I work hard go to college, I will be rewarded. However that is not true because of selfish decisions no one has any money and now you graduate college and you can't get a job. Thats just not right. I don't know I may be wrong but that is how I see things. I hope things improve but who knows the future.

3) So 2 big things this semester, I joined the USU rugby team. I am telling you I have never exercised so hard before, but oh lord it is so fun. I have never really had the opportunity  to play a team sport. I love it, even with the lumps its awesome. We have a test in 2 weekends and I hope that I have improved my endurance enough to help out the team. Also in my pre nursing classes I am learning so much and and enjoying them. In my micro-biology class I am learning tons. I have to study more for that class than I ever have had to before. I really enjoy it so that makes it cool. I really like the instructor. My other classes are fun and interesting. So all in all school is great.

Well life is sweet and no complaints. Go listen to dinosaur jr. I have recently fallen in love with them. Also I really enjoy watching Stargate Universe. Way cool. Read something of James Rollins, its a wonderful adventure the whole time.

If you read this boring message thanks a ton. You are a sweetie.

Some interesting news.

Well its official I start school on monday morning. I am so excited. I will be honest I am very nervous but I think it is going to be a great semester. I feel like I have finally gotten to a point in my life where I have enough confidence to actually allow myself to succeed. My major is undeclared seeking to enter the nursing program. My plan is to get all my pre recs done, get my CNA and then apply for the Nursing program. I either want to apply to the USU and Weber program, or the U of U program, or perhaps I may need to just enter into a technical college program. I would prefer to get a BSN from a university but really I just want to become a damn good pediatric nurse. I am very grateful to all the people who have given me advice on how to pursue this career. I am going to be taking elementary microbiology so that should be neat. That is going to be my hardest coarse. I am going to kill it I just have to make sure that I am studying as much as possible. Also I am taking Nutrition so that will be awesome.

So I have made remarks in the past that smart phones and technology are making people dumber, well today I was a great example. I was on campus and was trying to find my way around. I was getting nervous because there were so many people walking around in blue Utah State shirts I didn't want to ask for help or then a complete stranger might know it was my first day on campus. Well I came to a map, yes thats right a map that did not talk to me and tell me directions. I tried using it to figure out where I wanted to go. Well lets just say I became lost on campus for about 40 minutes. I mean it was no problem I got some good exercise. It was a beautiful day and I got to take it all in. However all I could think the entire time was, "I would have died the first week as a pioneer". So I take my hat of to my burly pioneer ancestors, I am sorry your toughness may have been lost along the way.

Oh Also I just turned 24 years old so that is neat.

And another thing, I think you all should but a Nook. After I bought mine I was a little nervous that I might not have though my purchase all the way through but now I am in love with it. Its amazing, in no way was it a waste.

Well a few new music likes: Tinarwien, Stephen Malkus and the Jinks, Devendra Banharts latest album and We Were Promised Jetpacks. I would recommend all of these and you will not be disapointed.

Well thanks for reading, I love you all. Good night and Good Luck.

I've made it back to cache valley

Well I got back from Florida and Boise. I had such an amazing time. I am so fortunate in my life to have so many incredible people who care about me. It was so good to see so many friends that I have not seen in far too long.

At camp my first week of volunteering was with the oldest campers. What was so awesome is that I was in my same cabin with many of the same boys from last year. Also I got to see a few boys from other weeks that came for that week instead of their regular week. It was so awesome to see how far the boys have come and matured. I played guitar with 2 of the boys at stage day. We played blister in the sun and apparently I looked just like Jack Black out of school of rock.

The next week I got to play with the youngest campers and was in the yellow pride for the first time. We had such amazing boys and had more fun than I ever have before. It was so exhausting but at the end of the week all I could do was look back and smile.

I was so blessed to have Thomas and Chris come with me to my home away from home. I was so proud of both of them. They both got painted up, covered in food, and just played their hearts out. To see two friends that I respect so much try something so knew and do such a good job, it was beautiful.

I do not want to make her feel uncomfortable but the lovely young lady who is the Psych Social position for camp is doing just an amazing job. Those children have been so blessed this summer to have someone who cares so much.

To wrap things up, I saw some of the very best friends and caught up, I made some knew friends who I am blessed to now know. I laughed until I cried, I shed a few tears of sorrow, I gave hundreds of high 5's and received more hugs than I deserve. I went to the beach, I went dancing, I learned about cigars and broke a few pairs of sandals. I shook my rumpus and bushy tail, I caught a mouthful of fake vomit in my throat.

Thank you to all my dear friends and family members, thank you all so much. My life is so wonderful because of you all. Ammon Out

Mr Boggybound

Well I am sitting in my room waiting for Thomas and Colter to get home. Once they get here we will pack up Colters Toyota and head down to Orem. Tom and I will be boarding a plane leaving a1 11:59 pm tonight and 9 hours later will be meeting the lovely Sarah Grether at the airport. I literally cannot tell you how excited I am. There are so many people who have changed my life that I have not seen for almost a full year, some of the best friends I have ever or will ever have. I am going to the place that showed me where I wanted my life to go and who I wanted to work towards becoming. The gifts that I have received from Camp Boggy Creek are worth more than any amount of money I will earn in my entire life. So much joy in my heart.

Well I am anxiously awaiting news from Utah State. I have applied for college and I will tell you I am so nervous. I am nervous I will not get in, I am nervous about being in school again. If you pray I would humbly ask that you pray for me to get in. I feel like I am so ready to finally truly attend college. I just hope I am given the chance.

Well some sad news Mr. Colter is gonna be moving out of our room and heading back to Arizona. I am sure that this is a great change for him but it will be sad for us to lose such a great member of our "treehouse", family. Also I am gonna have a new room mate and it is hard to replace someone who is so laid back about your crazy work schedule and behaviors.

Today I saw a potato bug walking as I was heading in my house, and I thought to myself "people call these rolly pollies, what an undignified name". Then I thought to myself, "You just called it a potato bug you jackass". A very interesting and drama filled life I live.

Well to friends family loved ones, Thank YOU!!!

P.S. I truly hope their is a god who can give the families of the Colorado shooting some peace. I cannot imagine the pain.

That will do pig, that will do.

It has been such a good year. In no way has this year been easy but I have met so many good people. I have learned so much, about myself, about what is important and about the world. I have grown so much I cannot even believe it. I have come so far and I am only excited about what is to come. I have fallen in love with life. I have so many people to thank for this. So many kind words, smiles, hugs and anything I needed in between. It just seems to get better. I am truly fortunate. Thanks ere body. Happy Tuesday.

I have always depended on the kindness of strangers.

So I finished an amazing book. It is called the Tao of Pooh. I would recommend this book to anyone. I enjoyed this book from start to finnish. I then started reading the Tao of Willie, about Willie Nelson. It seems that one of the most important messages from these books and from so many other sources is that a path to true happiness is by living honestly to yourself. Its amazing to me how hard this is though. It is so easy for me to allow what I think will please others affect my choices. Anything from what to wear to what I am doing for fun. I have decided that I am going to try my very hardest to make decisions based on what I want, not what I think I should do to please others. For people that this is easy, I not only respect them, I am green with jealous rage. Im starting with simple baby steps such as only reading books I want to, trying to be open about my feelings towards religion instead of just staying quiet. When I am not honest about my wants, needs and desires it is unfair to people in my life. I feel like I should apologize for not being honest about my wishes for so long. I know this is going to be a lifelong journey, I also am kind of annoyed that it has taken me to 23 to try to live for myself. I guess its better than 32 or 64 or 128 years old. Better late than ever eh? Well anyways perhaps later on I will update on how the new life lessons are going, perhaps not it just depends on wether I want to or not! Have a splendid day.

P.S. I think everyone should watch Deadwood. If you are ever sad think of all the amazing music you have not heard and books you have not read, its kind of amazing how much there is we have not yet had the pleasure to take in. I think everyone should get at least one tattoo, that way you can really decide if you would regret it. I am gonna try to write some songs that are only what I want to write and then I am gonna try to record them and I am gonna let people hear them for once, no matter what they sound like.

As I was leaving Idaho the other day I did not know how to get on the freeway. This family where all members had sleeve less shirts, mullets, all different kinds of cigarettes and a bumper sticker that said "if you are gonna tailgate me at least pull my hair", with the picture of a sexy lady next to it, showed me true genuine kindness. They went out of their way to allow me to follow them so that I would make it to the freeway without getting lost. I appreciated it so much. So I am sending out thankful brainwaves out to the universe hoping that they get them and have some good luck come their way. It was a great day to be an American.
