Some interesting news.

Well its official I start school on monday morning. I am so excited. I will be honest I am very nervous but I think it is going to be a great semester. I feel like I have finally gotten to a point in my life where I have enough confidence to actually allow myself to succeed. My major is undeclared seeking to enter the nursing program. My plan is to get all my pre recs done, get my CNA and then apply for the Nursing program. I either want to apply to the USU and Weber program, or the U of U program, or perhaps I may need to just enter into a technical college program. I would prefer to get a BSN from a university but really I just want to become a damn good pediatric nurse. I am very grateful to all the people who have given me advice on how to pursue this career. I am going to be taking elementary microbiology so that should be neat. That is going to be my hardest coarse. I am going to kill it I just have to make sure that I am studying as much as possible. Also I am taking Nutrition so that will be awesome.

So I have made remarks in the past that smart phones and technology are making people dumber, well today I was a great example. I was on campus and was trying to find my way around. I was getting nervous because there were so many people walking around in blue Utah State shirts I didn't want to ask for help or then a complete stranger might know it was my first day on campus. Well I came to a map, yes thats right a map that did not talk to me and tell me directions. I tried using it to figure out where I wanted to go. Well lets just say I became lost on campus for about 40 minutes. I mean it was no problem I got some good exercise. It was a beautiful day and I got to take it all in. However all I could think the entire time was, "I would have died the first week as a pioneer". So I take my hat of to my burly pioneer ancestors, I am sorry your toughness may have been lost along the way.

Oh Also I just turned 24 years old so that is neat.

And another thing, I think you all should but a Nook. After I bought mine I was a little nervous that I might not have though my purchase all the way through but now I am in love with it. Its amazing, in no way was it a waste.

Well a few new music likes: Tinarwien, Stephen Malkus and the Jinks, Devendra Banharts latest album and We Were Promised Jetpacks. I would recommend all of these and you will not be disapointed.
